Grab your milk, put on your cape, and hide any aquatic invertebrates you may have lying around. The boys are finally coming back for season 4, but not a little sooner. Spoiler alert for both The Boys Season 3 and the college spinoff Generation V, but things are looking a little bleak for dear old America. Butcher has months to live, Homelander knows he can get away with pretty much anything, and the head popper is heading to the White House. Shit’s fucked, to use more Boys appropriate parlance. The first three episodes of The Boys season 4 will premiere on Prime Video on June 13th, with subsequent episodes released weekly. The eight-episode season will end on July 18th. (By the way, in case you’re wondering, the standard season length for season of The Boys; this writer had to double check because it feels almost impossible that less than 10 episodes could generate that much blood.)

The world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscly thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power. Butcher, who only has a few months left to live, loses Becca’s son and his job as the Boys’ leader. The rest of the team is tired of his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they must work together to find a way to save the world before it’s too late.
