Reed Richards Just Rebuilt Hulk as the Perfect Hero

A villainous version of Reed Richards turned the Hulk into the perfect hero. The Maker, an evil variant of Reed Richards from the Ultimate Universe, uses time travel to create his own perfect universe with heroes he can control. Richards’ plan works brilliantly, crushing Spider-Man to death. In Final Invasion 2, readers meet the legendary Hulk, who has all the best traits of the character, such as strength, but without the immense rage. Ultimate Invasion 2 is written by Jonathan Hickman, with art by Bryan Hitch, inks by Andrew Currie, colors by Alex Sinclair, and lettering by Joe Caramagna. The issue begins with the Maker explaining his plans for our planet. He has prevented the creation of the Fantastic Four and left Thor stranded on Asgard under Loki’s control. However, he acknowledges that some events are necessary as the scene cuts to Bruce Banner being caught in a gamma explosion. The Creator then decides to reveal his “city” to the world and throws a huge gala party. Dignitaries from many countries walk the red carpet, including a unique version of the Hulk. Hailed as the Legendary Hulk, this version is gray and bald, wears long flowing robes, and is flanked by acolytes. This shocking new variant has apparently mastered Zen meditation and transformed his rage into enlightenment.

Hulk Has Finally Found Peace

This new incarnation of the Hulk is perhaps the most surprising – and it’s all thanks to the Creator. In Ultimate Invasion #1, the Creator escaped from his own prison (created by the original Reed Richards) and built a machine to find the perfect universe. In this issue’s epilogue, the Creator put his plan into motion by capturing a radioactive spider to give Spider-Man his powers. The Creator conducted an experiment to create a world where his will was not thwarted. Legendary Hulk is clearly a throwback to the iconic Ultimate Hulk vs. Wolverine, where Bruce Banner retreated to Tibet in search of inner peace, only to be pursued by Logan (who was working as an agent for Nick Fury). In the Creator’s new reality, it appears as though Banner was allowed to continue this quest, with surprising success.

This Is the Hulk the Maker Wants

The Creator has gone to great lengths to influence the fate of this universe. Preventing the creation of Spider-Man is only the beginning of his mission. However, he fails to prevent the detonation of the gamma bomb that created the Hulk, suggesting that he has plans for Bruce Banner’s new self. The Creator knows from experience that the Hulk will always be the Joker, which can cause serious problems at work. The Hulk is driven by rage and rage, so the Creator had the foresight to limit those traits and make the Hulk the leader of his own schismatic religion, the Children. Illuminated by divine light. This means that the producers now have a version of the Hulk they can control.

Legendary Hulk is perhaps the evil Reed Richards’ greatest achievement. The Hulk of Earth-616 has tried to control his anger and rage, to varying degrees, with the help of nearly everyone from Doctor Strange to Charles Xavier. Sometimes, he has achieved this by combining the Hulk’s raw strength with his incredible intellect. But more often than not, he has failed, losing control of the monster and causing disaster wherever he goes. It’s ironic that it’s the evil Reed Richards who proposes the solution: he channels the Hulk’s rage into more constructive purposes. The Hulk has a perfect new appearance, but it is also aligned with the desires of the ruthless Reed Richards, who has warped all of reality and made himself the oppressive ruler of the entire universe.
