Jon Hamm’s New TV Show Is Exactly What We’ve Been Waiting 8 Years For

Jon Hamm’s upcoming TV role looks very promising and could be his biggest project since Mad Men ended with its seventh season in 2015. Since his seven season run as the iconic Don Draper ended, Hamm has appeared in a ton of great projects, from movies like Top Gun: Maverick and Baby Driver to TV series like Good Omens. However, in none of these projects has the 52-year-old actor been able to showcase his skills in the same way he did on Mad Men.

It can be hard for TV stars to break away from roles they are closely associated with. Hamm will very likely always be best remembered as Don Draper in Mad Men. This will be a testament to Hamm’s acting career. However, despite how great Mad Men was, audiences love the actor and would love to see him in more prominent roles in film and television. The final months of 2023 will be a very exciting time for the actor, giving him plenty of screen time in highly anticipated projects. There are some exciting appearances lined up for 2024 as well.

Fargo Season 5 Is Jon Hamm’s Most Exciting TV Role Since Mad Men

Hamm has proven that he can deliver great drama as well as hilarious comedic performances. This makes him the perfect choice for Fargo season 5. Fargo is dark. His comedy/crime series is inspired by the 1996 film of the same name. It is an anthology series, and each season introduces an entirely new cast and storyline. For new viewers who are not familiar with his first four seasons but want to watch Hamm, starting right away with season 5 is an acceptable option. Fargo is an incredibly well-written series with some of the best comedy and crime on television. Hamm has done some of his best work on television with his witty dialogue, so it’s incredibly exciting for him to join the cast of Fargo in season 5. He’s also recently proven he has a knack for comedy. Comedy shows have been a recurring theme in Hamm’s career post-Mad Men. He’s had roles in Bob’s Burgers, Barry, Leave It, Larry! and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Fargo will be Hamm’s most significant TV role since Mad Men, even if it’s mostly a supporting role. It will provide him with some interesting material to work with and allow him to make the most of his dramatic and comedic talents.
