Star Wars’ Most Exciting Rebel Alliance Theory Is Even More Likely After Jedi: Survivor

Thanks to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, a popular Star Wars theory could finally become reality with Lucen Rael in Andor Season 2. Lucen was a key figure in the rebellion in Andor Season 1, but little is known about his past other than his unwavering belief in overthrowing the Empire. However, he has certain abilities that hint at his origins, and Jedi: Survivor provides some context that may shed some light on his history. Like its predecessor, Jedi: Survivor delved into the history of the Jedi Order and their activities since Order 66. The game also revealed surprising Sith-like abilities possessed by certain Jedi, giving rise to a new type of Jedi that may be related to Andor. There may also be a connection between two important Star Wars characters who will play key roles in Andor’s second season.

Jedi: Survivor Revealed Some Jedi Can Hide Themselves In The Force

Star Wars

Jedi: Survivor takes an incredible twist by revealing that Jedi can hide in the Force. Bode Akhna appears as a friend and ally to Cal, but we learn that the mercenary was once a Jedi who reluctantly agreed to work for the Imperial Security Service. The Jedi Council previously assigned him to the Secret Intelligence Service of the Republic, where he demonstrated his ideal espionage skills. Bode was so good at hiding his Force sensitivity that even Cal could not sense his fellow Jedi next to him or suspect that his friend might betray him. This surprising addition to the Jedi lore opens up new possibilities for Andor’s second season.

Andor’s Luthen Rael Would Be The Perfect Inversion Of Palpatine

Lucen Rael is essentially a rebel Palpatine, hiding his true nature behind a benevolent facade and working in the shadows to overthrow the ruling government. Certain clues suggest that Lucen Rael is a Jedi in hiding, and Jedi: Survivor provides new evidence to support this theory. Perhaps Lucen was trained as a spy and given a top-secret mission by the Jedi Council to either change his identity or remain anonymous in the temple records in order to survive Order 66. This would explain his ability to build a secret rebellion network and make him the polar opposite of Palpatine.

Lucen knew he was using the enemy’s tools and would never find peace of mind, but he continued, “I created a sunrise I knew I would never see.” Palpatine justified his actions by casting the Jedi as hypocrites who served a corrupt institution, while at the same time assuring him that it was he who carried out the Sith’s grand plan. These similarities and differences make Lucen and Palpatine the perfect foils, and Lucen being a Jedi spy only strengthens this connection. It’s up to the Andor season 2 team to determine Lucen’s backstory, but Jedi: Survivor has opened up many more possibilities.
