How We Review & Rate Movies

FilmFrontRow covers new movies, web series and OTT releases for Indian audiences. This page explains how we research, write, rate and update our articles, so you know exactly how much to trust what you read here.

Where our information comes from

  • Release dates and streaming platforms are taken from official announcements by the studio or the OTT platform, and cross-checked with public title databases such as TMDB and JustWatch.
  • Cast, crew, runtime and certificate details are taken from official press material and public databases.
  • Every article lists its sources at the end so you can check them yourself.

How we write

We use AI tools to help with research and first drafts. Every article then goes through quality and fact checks before it is published: dates, platforms and names are verified against the sources above, and anything that is not officially announced is clearly marked as expected or unconfirmed.

How our ratings work

  • 9–10: Outstanding — a must-watch.
  • 7–8: Very good — worth your time.
  • 5–6: Mixed — good parts, clear flaws.
  • 3–4: Weak — only for big fans.
  • 1–2: Skip it.

We judge story, performances, direction, music and how well a film or series delivers on what it promises. Reviews are kept spoiler-free; any spoiler section is clearly labelled.

Keeping articles up to date

OTT dates change often. Our release trackers are checked automatically every day, and articles are updated as soon as a platform confirms a date. The “Last updated” date at the top of each article shows when it was last changed.

Independence

We do not accept payment for reviews or ratings. We never link to pirated copies, unofficial downloads or illegal streams.
